The control volume technique is used to model the two-dimensional transport of windborne contaminant and its infiltration through porous fabric walls to the interior of a chamber maintained at a slight overpressure. The flow characteristics for the fabric are modelled using a source term in the momentum equations that is analogous to the Ergun equation for packed columns.
